Chicago Bears WR Luther Burden III (undisclosed) has missed time this offseason because of an injury but is expected to be ready for the start of training camp, according to head coach Ben Johnson.
Huddle Up: Burden will have some extra time to recover from his injury and probably will be a full participant when camp starts. He is in line for the No. 3 receiver job with the Bears but probably will not see a lot of targets during games. He could be a late round pick in some leagues but will not be a starting option most weeks.

Chicago Bears WR Luther Burden III (undisclosed) did not participate at the team's mandatory minicamp, according to sources Tuesday, June 3.
Huddle Up: The highly touted rookie is expected to take things slow considering the fact that the Bears still have months until training camp. As long as he gets on the field in the fall, Burden can be viewed as a late-round dart throw in fantasy drafts, and one that comes with a capped ceiling due to the competition ahead of him.

Chicago Bears WR Luther Burden III will be an option to return punts this upcoming season, according to special teams coordinator Richard Hightower.
Huddle Up: Burden is expected to have a role in the passing game during his rookie season, so he probably will not be asked to return many punts in 2025. He should see a handful of targets each game but probably will not be a starting fantasy option most weeks.
